HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

The CPR course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The course will include Adult & Infant CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

This course covers First Aid topics, types of injuries, medical information and how to provide an immediate medical response during emergency situations. First Aid is administered immediately after the injury occurs and at the location where it occurred. It also includes the CPR component.

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

This course is generally for childcare workers, educators and supports staff working within an Education and Care setting. This covers First Aid topics, types of injuries, medical information and how to provide an immediate medical response during emergency situations. First Aid is administered immediately after the injury occurs and at the location where it occurred. It also includes the CPR component.

HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid

This course covers in-depth discussions on first aid topics, types of injuries, medical information and how to provide an immediate medical response during emergency situations. First Aid is administered immediately after the injury occurs and at the location where it occurred. It also includes the CPR component.
