ABOUT THE COURSE
The CPR course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The course will include Adult & Infant CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
You will learn about the following topics:
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Techniques
- Use of Defibrillator
- Legal Responsibilities of a First Aider
- Recovery Position
- Secondary Survey
- Basic Anatomy and Physiology (differences between adults, children and infants relating to CPR)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students must be at least 14 years of age. Participants must also:
- Present photo ID.
- Provide their USI.
- Have sufficient English language skills to complete the course.
TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
Students will be taught by industry professionals and receive learning materials which they keep for future reference. Assessment is via written questions, verbal questions, and case study/simulated environment assessment tasks.
PRICE
The course fee is $70 which also includes the Certificate Issue.

CERTIFICATE
Nationally Recognised training! Once a competent mark is awarded, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment with the relevant unit code: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Certificate is valid for 12 months. |
